Additional Cases

By now, you have probably worked through one or more of the case studies that appear at the end of each part of the book. The case studies are a little more weighty than the chapter-end exercises; in addition, they integrate many of the topics included in the chapters in each part of the text to which they relate, although not exclusively. You will be required to undertake numerical-based questions and give your opinion based on your analysis of a situation. The questions do not necessarily have one 'right' answer. Each case study is therefore intended to give you an opportunity to apply the principles and techniques gained from each part, and to develop the analytical skills and judgement required to deal with real life business problems.

Practice makes perfect, so here we have provided a further case study for each part. Please note that debriefings to these additional case studies are not available to students on this website.
